Positions are available all of Oakland and Macomb Counties. Portamedic is one of our nation's largest and most technologically advanced health information providers. Our network of talented professionals conducts physical examinations, testing and personal health interviews, primarily for the life and health insurance industry. As a Mobile Field Examiner you will perform paramedical exams, review insurance company's requirements, gather medical history, record vital signs, complete specimen (i.e. blood, urine, etc.) collection / handling, and may complete ECG tracings. Position also involves communicating daily to the office regarding status of cases. To qualify, you must have current licensure, certification or medical training (e.g., RN, LPN, MedTech, Medical Assistant, etc.) as required by the state for completion of phlebotomy services; at least one year ofof medical experience.
